Rules at the dormitory for international students of Azerbaijan Medical University
1. Check in at AMU DIS is made on the basis of personal application in case of availability of free rooms and full pre-payment of the annual stay in the amount of 600 manats (this amount is not refundable).
2. In the case of termination of the period of study, academic leave or eviction, a resident is obliged to vacate the place in the dormitory in a three-day period, pass it to the commandant in tidy form with all the supplies received under the bypass list.
3. When entering the dormitory a resident must present the pass. It is strictly prohibited to give the pass to third persons. A resident of AMU DIS has to be in his room no later than 23:00.
4. Relatives and people not living in the dormitory are obliged to log and leave an identity document at the guard post for the time allowed by the administration of the dormitory to visit. A resident of the dormitory is responsible for timely leaving of the invitees and their compliance with the rules of the dormitory.
5. A resident of AMU DIS has the right to use the premises of the dormitory, as well as equipment, appliances and supplies provided by the administration and is responsible for their proper use and safety.
6. A resident of AMU DIS is obliged to comply with the safety regulations and fire safety rules, regularly pass the necessary instructions.
7. In the residential and public areas of the dormitory a resident is obliged to keep silence and order, economically use electricity, gas and water, take care of the furniture, equipment and inventory.
8. A resident bears full liability for any damage in the accommodation room and other areas of the dormitory.
9. A resident of the dormitory is prohibited to move or transfer the equipment from one room to another, as well as independently carry out any repair and plumbing work in the dormitory, to make changes in the wiring system or connect to the grid any devices with power more than 1 kW.
10. From 23:00 to 7:00 the use of televisions, radios, tape recorders and other devices with audio speakers in rooms of the dormitory is not permitted.
11. Alteration of the locks and installation of new ones without the permission of the administration of the dormitory is prohibited.
12. It is prohibited to stick posters and ads at the walls of the dormitory.
13. A resident of the dormitory is obliged to respect the rights and legitimate interests of the neighbors living with him in the same room.
14. It is strictly forbidden to bring to the dormitory, as well as to store, sell and consume any alcohol, drugs or psychotropic substances.
15. It is strictly forbidden to bring and store in the dormitory explosive and chemically hazardous substances, as well as fire and cold weapons.
16. In the residential and public areas of the dormitory and on the balconies the use of open sources of fire, as well as keeping pets is prohibited.
17. It is not allowed to bring, as well as to store any bulky things that impede the free passage in the dormitory.
18. For the violation of any of the above regulations the administration has the right to apply disciplinary sanctions to the resident up to the eviction from the dormitory.
